Thank you so much for choosing us to be part of your special moments.

For your custom cake order, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

  1. Please include all details when requesting an order. Inspiration photos you upload are for inspiration purposes only. The cake will not be an exact replica, as every baker has their own touch. Cake designing is a unique creation. Aby's Cake will do her best to create your cake design as closely as possible to the photo(s) provided.
  2. Please note, there are times when the cake designer must make adjustments to the design in the interest of structure, stability, or aesthetics. The goal is not to change the overall design drastically. We understand that each event and celebration is a unique experience, and you will receive a custom and personalised cake.
  3. Any changes that you as a customer want to make to your requested design that has already been discussed and booked must be made 5 DAYS before the booking date. After that time, you will NOT be able to make any changes to your order design.
  4. For all bespoke Orders. After receiving the picture of your finished cake, if you want to make any changes, you will have 30 MINUTES to request the change, and you will have to pay an EXTRA FEE for the change requested. (PLEASE BE SURE OF THE DESIGN YOU HAVE DISCUSSED WITH US)
  5. For bespoke, corporate and wedding orders requiring a quote, a 50% NON-refundable deposit payment is required in order to reserve a date and consider our engagement a contract for services to be rendered. After discussing your order details and receiving the quote for your order with payment instructions, you must make the deposit payment immediately. No custom order will be booked or prepared until the deposit has been received. Please confirm that all information is correct on the invoice prior to paying your deposit.
    Please note that by paying the deposit, you are in agreement with all of Aby's Cake terms and conditions.
  6. Final Payment: For custom orders, the remaining balance is due 1 day prior to delivery/collection. Your order will not be provided if payment is not received on or before such date, resulting in the cancellation of your order. For standard products available in our online shop, full payment is required at the time of purchase through our Shopify payment system.
  7. Cancellations/Postponement: You are responsible for notifying Aby's Cake of any date changes or your intent to cancel your order. A credit will be issued for cancellations or postponements communicated more than 7 days prior to the event date. No credit will be issued for cancellations or postponements communicated within 6 days of the scheduled event date, and the balance for your order will also be due and payable.
  8. Aby's Cake routinely photographs orders and expressly reserves the right to use such photographs for advertising purposes. We will not disclose the identity of clients (photographs of people, last names, event details, contract details) without permission.
  9. Pick Up/Delivery Care: Orders are for collection only unless you've requested and paid for delivery. We will not meet or deliver a cake without a fee. If you or your representative chooses to pick up and set up your order, you assume all liability and responsibility for its condition once it has left our possession. Aby's Cake is not liable for any damages due to negligence or improper handling (including collapse, melting, pokes, etc.) once your order has been picked up or delivered (this also applies to Lyft/Uber pick-ups). You are responsible for providing a suitable environment for your order. Please follow the Cake Care instructions that are displayed on your cake order or provided by us.When picking up a cake or cupcakes, do not tilt or hold it from the sides. Keep the air conditioning on high and take it immediately to the fridge, or remove from the fridge one hour before the event. If anything happens to the cake due to mishandling, Aby's Cake is not responsible for any damage or mishaps.
  10. Collection Time/Late fee: The collection location will be in the city of Birmingham. The full address will be provided during checkout and will also appear on your booking confirmation invoice once your order has been placed. When you arrive you must call or message us so we can bring your order out for you. Week days collections are scheduled individually. Saturday collection are strictly between     9:00 am.-12:00 pm. Unless otherwise agreed in advance. Customer must arrive at their Scheduled collection time. Please be respectful of your assigned time slot as we operate on a strict schedule. Late arrivals will result in delays, and ABYS Cake reserves the right to leave the premises if the agreed collection time is not respected.

LATE FEE WILL BE APPLY TO ALL LATE COLLECTION:

    • £5 for 30 mins past collection time
    • £10 for 60 mins past collection time
      *Late fees must be paid before Aby's Cake will release your order.

11. Quality: We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. It is important to remember that cakes are perishable and delicate products. Unfortunately, once you take possession of your order (via delivery or collection), a number of factors relating to the care and transportation thereof may result in the quality being compromised or damage occurring that is beyond our control or responsibility. Care instructions must be followed thoroughly in order to avoid compromising the quality, freshness and design of your order.

12. No phone calls are accepted for any order requests.
